Arcade tools designed for LLMs to interact with Salesforce
Salesforce Toolkit
Arcade's Salesforce toolkit lets LLMs interact with a Salesforce org to read, create, update, and convert CRM records. It covers the full sales workflow — from lead capture through deal close — using the authenticated user's identity and org configuration.
Capabilities
- Identity & context: Resolve the authenticated user and org details before executing other actions.
- Lead lifecycle: Create, search, update, and convert leads into Contacts, Accounts, and Opportunities; converted leads surface their resulting record IDs on error to prevent stale writes.
- Contact & account management: Create contacts, search with role/account filters, and retrieve full account profiles including linked contacts, leads, opportunities, tasks, notes, calls, emails, and events.
- Opportunity (deal) management: Create, search, update, and fetch enriched opportunity data (contact roles, line items, open tasks, recent notes); stage, lead source, and type are validated against org picklists.
- Activity logging & task management: Create tasks (reminders, follow-ups), log completed calls as activities, list your open or overdue tasks, and update or complete existing tasks.
OAuth
This toolkit uses OAuth 2.0 via the Salesforce provider. See the Arcade Salesforce auth provider docs for setup details.
Secrets
-
SALESFORCE_ORG_SUBDOMAIN— The subdomain of your Salesforce org's instance URL. For a standard org athttps://mycompany.my.salesforce.com, the subdomain ismycompany. Find this in Salesforce Setup → My Domain or directly in the browser URL when logged into your org. Required so the toolkit routes API calls to the correct instance. -
SALESFORCE_MAX_CONCURRENT_REQUESTS— An integer that caps the number of simultaneous Salesforce API requests the toolkit will make. Tune this to stay within your org's API request limits, which vary by Salesforce edition and license type. If omitted, the toolkit uses its own default. Obtain the right value by checking your org's API allocation in Salesforce Setup → Company Information or API Usage.
